    I saw this band a few weeks ago open for Los Lobos at a transcendent free concert by the river in Albany. They're Anglo musicians who wear Mexican wrestling masks, and have made this album of Spanish language versions of 60s pop songs. "Hang on Sloopy" becomes "Hey Lupe" etc... also including "Loco te patina el Coco" (Wild Thing) and "El Microscopicio bikini" (Dizzy Miss Lizzie). Featuring the best instrumentalists you've never heard before, plus the vocal stylings of Big Sandy. An essential purchase, and then check out the segment Terry Gross did with them on

    on Fresh Air.

Start with this album, and this heartbreakingly beautiful song, then if you really want some fun, buy the box set, it comes with a DVD. War-gate

Ample evidence has been uncovered to impeach Bush.  For me, the Downing Street memo confirms what I've known all along, the problem is, everyone knows. But now the evidence can't be ignored.  I watched John Conyers' hearing and heard many dedicated Congresswomen delve further into timelines that don't connect with the White House's version of events. This isn't about Republican or Democrat it is about the Office of the President and its credibility. So I figure the only way to get the media involved is to give them a slogan.  I'm suggesting this one:

War-gate.

Love it. And not just for the obvious connecton with My Favorite Scandal.

War-gate.  Pass it on.

Right On!
Good point about it being a non-partisan issue. The past 5 years of Bush dictatorship have been a lesson in divide-and-conquer - You're with us or against us! You're a patriot or a whiney liberal! No grey areas, no questions. Ignorance is thier greatest strength

I sincerely miss the old-school republicans who believed in stuff like fiscal responsibility and a balanced budget
